Marine Facilities Australia was engaged by the owners of Woolwich Marina to assist with the proposed expansion of the facility, including the addition of 36 new marina berths, the relocation of existing swing moorings, and the provision of compliant and adequate on-site car parking.

The project is ongoing and involves complex consultation and negotiation with multiple authorities, including Transport for NSW and Hunters Hill Council. MFA’s role includes coordinating technical inputs, managing regulatory requirements, and supporting the approvals process for a sensitive waterfront site with operational and heritage considerations.

To support the project, MFA has assembled and managed a team of trusted specialist consultants, including town planners, traffic engineers, and heritage conservation experts. This collaborative, multidisciplinary approach ensures the proposal balances navigational safety, regulatory compliance, community considerations, and long-term operational viability.
